Mary Ruth Satterfield, Greenville Mary Ruth Satterfield, 78, of 7 Eldorado Drive, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000. Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late William Augustus and Eva Langley Satterfield. She retired from Steel Heddle after 43 years of service and was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, PCA. Surviving are a sister, Floride Herron of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Mary Lee Satterfield of Satellite Beach, Fla.; six nieces, Virginia Mears, Elizabeth Gilbert and Suzanne Black, all of Greenville, Frances Hale of Taylors, Brenda Martin of Greer, and Sandra Fisher of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and two nephews, Joel Satterfield of Fort Lauderdale, and Odie "Buster" Brown of Slidell, La. Memorial graveside services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Springwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Decherd Stevens officiating.
