Per R.L. Guffin, in the late 1800s Ben M. Westmoreland moved from Woodruff, SC to Cobb Co, GA and married Minnie Durham, great-granddaughter of George Durham. They were the parents of R.L. Guffin's step-grandmother, Louis Westmoreland who was born in 1891 and died in 1990 in Marietta, GA.
